Eyeglasses and the Medicine Cabinet

A pair of old family eyeglasses from the Roberts homestead

On the weekend I try to get up early and accomplish a great deal, because during the week, I usually don’t get anything done because of work. The weekend list is a long one, and if I stay on task ,it is one I can easily accomplish. Yesterday, I gave my face a thorough wash with an astringent which was on the first shelf of the medicine cabinet. My glasses were on the sink basin because I had just showered. I grabbed the astringent bottle and a cotton swab and proceeded to rub it across my forehead, around my eyes and nose. I felt a burning sensation and realized I had washed my face with nail polish remover. Not only did I clean my face but I removed any trace of freckles. So the lesson here is to wear your glasses when you reach for an item in the medicine cabinet. Enjoy your week!

Moral of the story: Don't put the astrigent and nail policy remover in the same medicine cabinet!!!!

Good one, Toots. I hope that your face will be ok. Thankfully you didn't mistake it for eye drops.

    You have a great day.
