Redbank Remembered 1968-1972
This has been a long time coming. With the help of my son, Mike, I was able to download some excellent footage of Redbank Kids. I think many are going to be amazed at how many kids they see in this latest video clip. As you scan the crowd, you will see many families represented like McNeil, Davis, Reynolds, Lovejoy, Laurence,Roberts, Dorr, Watts, Desmarais, Murphy, Towle,Houston,Swan, Ross,Dunbar,Morin, Kitchin,Bartell,Jaynes,Henningsen, Bartell,Fowler,Jaynes... and the list goes on and on. I would like to see if anyone has any names they can identify. Thank you to my parents who took so many videos of us growing up in Redbank. You should be able to connect with the link below or just look for Redbank Maine or fiddlinsuz under Youtube.com to find the latest. Enjoy and feel free to comment.

When u refer to Kitchin are your referring to Steve? Steve is my nephew and I believe he is the one in the VFW cap as I think that's the team he played Little League on. Just came across this whole Redbank blog/sites today and am enthralled. I lived at 64 Colin Kelly from 1945 to 1973. Thanks so much for the memories. Larry Hamilton

Hello Larry, Thanks for the comment and so glad you are enjoying the videos and blogs. Yes I knew Steve and his sister Kim well. Redbank was a very unique neighborhood and I have so many fond memories of growing up there and also a camraderie with everyone I grew up with in Redbank. I bet you have so many memories also. Take good care.

Lots of memories..although most of mine are of an earlier time in Redbank. From 1968-1971 I was in Army, so anything that happened in Redbank happened without me, although my folks were there. If you want to pick my brain about early Redbank history, just let me know. I see Steve a couple of times a year and saw Kim this past summer, as well as their mother.
